Project Synopsis

This initiative was spearheaded at Miami-Dade County Public Schools by then Chief Strategic Officer, Lisa Martinez. Following her launch of LM Genuine Solutions, her leadership of Together for Children continued pro bono, as this youth violence prevention work aligns with the mission and theory of action of LMGS, and guiding the growth and sustainability of this work remains important to the firm. This effort brings together 139 nonprofit organizations and 11 anchor partners across Miami-Dade County and has continued to grow in impact and reach since 2016.  TFC has now fully transitioned to be led and administered by local neighborhood leaders, but LMGS’ CEO remains involved as Treasurer on the TFC Board of Trustees.
